Patapsco High Senior Wins Poster Contest

Senior Safiya Brown advances to national contest; senior Caleb Harrison earns honorable mention in local competition.

Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts senior Safiya Brown will graduate in June, but she will continue to have a visible presence in Baltimore County Public Schools all next school year.

The art student designed a poster and entered it in Baltimore County's magnet school poster competition. Her entry was selected as the countywide winner, which means her artwork will be featured in next year's magnet publications, according to a statement from the school.

Brown also advances to the national magnet school poster contest, which is sponsored by Magnet Schools of America.
