Patapsco High Student of the Week: Devon Reynolds

The freshman is honored for being a class leader, advocating for his own education and standing up for mistreated peers.

Freshman Devon Reynolds is the Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts Student of the Week for the week ending Jan. 18.

He was nominated for the honor by educators Mara Ma, Janice Singh and Elva Venzke.

Devon "works very hard and is a class leader," according to Venzke.

He works hard and is "very polite and patient," according to Ma.

Devon is "an exceptional student that always puts his best effort forward on all assigned tasks ..." Singh said in an email to Patch. "Devon is a defender of those that are mistreated, and will stand up in a proactive manner to ensure the well being of others.  Devon is a lead participant in class and gives his best 100 percent all of the time.  He advocates for himself in his own learning, and helps others to achieve the teacher's high level expectations!"
