Patapsco High Student of the Week: Dresden Dosch

Dresden Dosch sets high standards for herself in her roles as student, athlete and artist.

Dresden Dosch has been named Patapsco High School and Center of the Arts' most recent Student of the Week.

The sophomore was nominated for the honor by social studies teacher Chris Karwacki and art teacher Bernie Zienkiewicz.

“Dresden has come quite a long way over the last two years, both as a student and an athlete," Karwacki said in his nomination. "Dresden exhibits a lot of talent in the art magnet program and she demonstrates a solid work ethic at track and field.  She displays a positive attitude and can often be seen cheering on her fellow teammates between her events. Dresden specializes in long distance running and runs nearly every day of her life.  Her coaches and teachers are very proud of her!”

“Dresden sets incredibly high standards for herself artistically, behaviorally, academically, athletically," Zienkiewicz said in her nomination.  "Her artwork is so carefully rendered from observation that completing her drawings or paintings requires many hours.  Her work ethic is incredible.  She is always on task in the classroom.  Her art is always selected to represent our school for any out-of-building exhibit.”
