Patapsco High Student of the Week: Laura Hubbard

Freshman Laura Hubbard is on the bowling team and helps with the school's recycling program.

Freshman Laura Hubbard has been named the Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts Student of the Week for the week of Jan. 7.

Hubbard was nominated for the honor by educator Dana Evans, who cited the student for her willingness to help other students and the school community at large.

The celebrated student is known for “always looking out for her classmates, going above and beyond to help them with their class work," according to Evans.

"She’s also shown great improvements in her independence since starting high school in August," Evans said in an email to Dundalk Patch. "She’s on the bowling team and can frequently be seen helping recycle around the school.”

Congratulations!
