Patapsco High Student of the Week: Sydney Lawson
The senior was nominated for the honor based upon many accomplishments and volunteer efforts.
Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts senior Sydney Lawson has been named Student of the Week for the week of May. 6.
Lawson was nominated for the honor by English teacher and AVID advisor Sean McComb.
"Sydney is a dedicated AP Psychology student, serves as an AVID tutor, cares for an elderly family member in need and provides transportation to work for a fellow student in need," McComb said in an email to Patch. "She is an incredibly kind and giving student who is a role model for her peers."
