Stricker Middle Reschedules 2 Snowed Out Concerts

Student musicians and vocalists invite community residents to three concerts featuring concert and steel drum bands, the school's orchestra and grade-level choruses.

Student musicians at General John Stricker Middle School put in a lot of practice time this fall and they aren't going to let a little snow and ice cancel their concerts.

Thwarted by bad weather last week, school officials have rescheduled two concerts and hope to get the third off as originally scheduled, according to music teacher Jason Adams.

The winter band concert, which includes the steel drum band, has been reset for 7 p.m. tonight (Monday, Dec. 16) at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts.

The winter orchestra concert will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Stricker, and the winter choral concert has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at Patapsco.

Tickets cost $2 and will be available at the door of each performance.
