Local Fighters to Compete in Stellar Fights Season's Beatings

Adam Rabuck and Shaun Grazuties look to bring victory to their dojos or training places.

Stepping into a locked cage and fighting another man isn't something most reasonable people would do, but that's exactly what Adam Rabuck of Dundalk's Practical MMA and Shaun Grazuties of Parkville's Charm City BJJ will do on Saturday night at Stellar Fights Season's Beatings in Harrington, DEL.

The two schools formed a training alliance to prepare Mike Young for his professional fighting debut at Shogun Fights and have been cross training ever since.

“We really have found a great partnership with Charm City,” said Chris Clark of Practical MMA. “It has allowed us to train full time in preparation for Saturday's fights.”

Rabuck will be fighting for the second time, his first bout earned him submission of the night with a Stellar Fights record 26-second choke out.

He will be fighting David Nardiello, a 6-foot 4-inch freestyle fighter out of Crossfit nation in Easton, MD.

“This time I want to get the knock-out of the night,” said Rabuck. “Chris has had me working extensively on my striking, so I'm confident wherever the fight ends up.”

Grazuties, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blue belt who is part owner of Charm City BJJ, will be fighting Ben Heffner who holds a BJJ purple belt and trains at Complete JJ and also wants to showcase his stand-up game.

“Working with the guys from Practical MMA has really tightened up my punches and kicks,” said Grazuties. “I want to stand and bang with him, but if it goes to the ground, I'm comfortable there, too. Losing is not an option.”

The fight card kicks off at 6:30 p.m. at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington, DEL and Dundalk Patch will bring you all the action.
