BCPL Contest Offers iPad Mini as Prize
To enter the contest, participants need to take a picture of the library system's Opening Doors banner and tweet it to the system's Twitter account.
If you've been wanting an iPad Mini but it just hasn't been in the budget, the Baltimore County Library System might be able to help you out.
The Foundation for BCPL is holding a contest through Aug. 31, in which one winner will win an Apple mini-tablet just for snapping a picture of a banner, according to a statement from library officials.
To participate in the "Opening Doors" contest, all residents have to do is take a picture of the system's Opening Doors banner exhibits at various locations around Baltimore County and then tweet the picture with the location noted to @bcplinfo with the hashtag #bcplopensdoors.
The banners can be found at various libraries (the locations will change), as well as special locations, including the Ikea White Marsh and Mondawmin Mall, both on July 20; Six Flags America on July 27; and the Spirit Cruises Heaven 600 Gospel Cruise on Aug. 10.
Participants can enter the contest once per day.
