County Offices Closed for Memorial Day

Circuit and District courts are closed; trash and recycling pickups will not occur.

Baltimore County government offices and District and Circuit courts are closed today in observation of Memorial Day.

Health department clinics, senior centers and libraries are closed; CountyRide vans will not operate and trash and recycling centers will be shuttered as well.

The holiday also means that trash, recycling and yard materials collections normally scheduled for Monday will not happen, according to a county press release.

County residents whose trash or yard materials would normally have been collected May 27 are encouraged to set the items out Monday night for Tuesday collection.

If your recyclables were scheduled for pickup on Monday, hold on to those materials and put them out for collection next Monday (June 3).

County officials warn residents that collection times may be later than usual throughout the week following Memorial Day. If a collection does not occur on the scheduled day, the items should be left out until they are picked up, officials said in the statement.

All county offices, courts and trash and recycling drop-off centers will resume normal hours of operation on Tuesday, May 28.
