Dundalk Concert Series Closes Tonight with 'Impulse'

The summer's final concert begins at 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Park.

Dundalk's Concerts in the Park series will close for the summer tonight with a performance by Impulse.

The music will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the gazebo at Heritage Park in downtown Dundalk. Impulse is a variety band that plays music from the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s.

The band was originally scheduled to perform on Aug. 9 but the concert was rained out.

Because of the band's popularity in Dundalk, concert organizer Angel Ball asked Impulse members if they would be able to reschedule.

That collaborative effort to provide free music to the Dundalk community resulted in one more chance for neighbors to get out their lawn chairs and blankets, pack a picnic dinner and gather as a community again.

Vendors will have food available for purchase if packing a picnic is too much trouble.
