Gallery: Dundalk's Heritage Fair

Dundalk's 37th annual Heritage Fair was held June 29 to July 1 in Heritage Park.

The small village green known as Heritage Park becomes a temporary village of a different sort when it hosts Dundalk's Heritage Fair each year.

The fair, started as a one-time celebration of the nation's bicentennial in 1976, has morphed into what local residents like to claim is the nation's longest (and some say biggest) Independence Day celebration.

Musical acts, carnival rides, arts and crafts areas, food booths and a beer garden all combine to become the party that offers something for all ages.
