Baltimore Counties Other Kevin

Hello my name is Kevin Francis Marron.   I'm thrilled to run for Baltimore County Executive in order to unseat Kevin Kamenetz.  I offer an immediate directional change; my primary win will signal the end of the political arrogance we've witnessed in Baltimore County in recent years.  I will remove the curtain separating citizens and administration developers who are running this county. I pledge to start with the accomplishment of three campaign promises:

I.                    Stop Rain Tax – The County Executive can stop this immediately,he was actually given permission by this years' assembly but as he said on C4 show April 17th 2014, he thinks he knows better ways to spend the tax revenue rather than repeal it.

II.                  Save Open Space- I believe that an immediate withdrawal by the developer of North Point Government Center would follow my win as every candidate except Kamenetz has expressed they would stop it.  there are many examples for similar situation that should be examined immediately. 

III.                Examine Education Allocations- Many deficiencies within BCPS call for examination and investigation.  I pledge to prioritize our school district by listening to parents and responding quickly.

I am 59 years old, married with three children, and employed with BGE for 33 years.  I’ve been recognized at the local, state, and national level for my volunteer performance.  I have served in almost every community volunteer position in roles such as coach, leader, chairman, secretary, treasurer, board member, and referee.  My experiences have provided me with all facets of leadership and include leading a delegation to USSR in 1988 at the height of the cold war.  It was the week before Ronald Reagan made his historic trip there.  I have a dual RPA/FMA BOMI designation for Real Property Administrator and Facilities Management Administrator.

I feel that transparency and ethical responsibility are needed NOW!
