The DCP mission statement reads, “We partner with the people of Dundalk to maintain and strengthen individuals, families, and neighborhoods where children and families are safe and thriving. We do this by coming together to
identify strengths, needs, and opportunities; to develop solutions; and to take action to strengthen families and improve their quality of life.”

The DCP, consisting of the Dundalk Youth Services Center, the Baltimore County
Department of Social Service, Department of Health, Lifepointe Church, Catholic
Charities (Villa Maria), Family Tree, MD Choices, The Community Assistance
Network, Baltimore Art and Music Project, On Our Own, One Voice and the Dundalk Renaissance Corporation, will present a day of fun with live music, a kids zone and information about community resources available to individuals and families.

The DCP hopes to create more resources, increase the amount of families fostering children, bring more volunteers into the partnership, and share one of its taglines — that it’s “Our Community, Our Responsibility.”

DunFest will also feature health screenings; free pictures with Poe, the Baltimore Ravens mascot, the Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts Patriot mascot and the Dundalk High School Owl mascot.

There will be a $100 raffle for those attendees that "like" the Dunfest Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/dundalkcp. The drawing will be held at the beginning of the event and you must be present to win.

Free transportation is available to and from the event for families that need it in the Dundalk area only. Call ahead of time to arrange for pickup: 410-879-9802.

DunFest provides a day of celebrating families in the Dundalk community and there will be fun for all ages.
