Sisters of Chrome Bring New Meaning to 'Ladies Night'

Local women's motorcycle club to host benefit to raise money for Teddy bears to give to children and seniors dealing with fragile and traumatic situations.

The Sisters of Chrome Women’s Motorcycle Club will host its third annual Trauma Teddy Bear Run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.on July 23 at the American Legion Post 38, 3300 Dundalk Ave. in Dundalk.

Along with the motorcycle run, there will be live bands, food, door prizes, a silent auction and even matches from Champion Midget Wrestling. Money raised at the event will go toward purchasing Teddy bears that will be given to children in need and/or senior citizens.

Event organizers said those bears will go to children in the hospital, youngsters who are dealing with a traumatic event involving the police or fire department along with Christmas presents to seniors living alone in assisted living facilities.
