Slideshow: Bread and Cheese Clean Up

Courtesy of John Long, the photo gallery chronicles Clean Bread And Cheese Creek volunteers efforts this past weekend to, well, clean Dundalk's Bread and Cheese Creek, beset by trash and storm water management issues.

The Bread and Cheese Creek clean up effort went well this past weekend despite heavy rain Friday. Despite the threat of more rain Saturday, 153 volunteers showed up early in the morning with smiles on their faces ready to work.

Together, one 40-yard dumpster was filled with trash and debris, including 33 shopping carts, 22 tires, four cubicle walls, four bicycles, three car batteries, two commuter monitors, one refrigerator, one freezer, one stove and one tiller. And, of course, much more.
