Snow Delays Public Schools by 2 Hours; Causes Driving Problems Overnight

As temperatures fall to 25 degrees overnight, Tuesday's snow created slippery driving conditions on local roads.

As expected several inches of snow fell Tuesday afternoon and evening, creating slick driving conditions on secondary roads as temperatures dropped to 25 degrees. 

The Calvary Baptist School in Dundalk was one of the first schools in the area to announce a delay for Wednesday. The school announced at 11 p.m. Tuesday, according to WBAL's website, that they will open two hours late.

The Baltimore County Public Schools announced that it was opening two hours late and that morning pre-kindergarten was cancelled. Check out their website at www.bcps.org

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 31. Northwest wind between 15 and 18 mph. 

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 18. Northwest wind between 6 and 13 mph. 

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 31. 

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 18. 

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 34. 

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. 

Sunday: Cloudy, with a high near 38. 

Sunday Night: Cloudy, with a low around 27.
