1. The Weather: Nearly two weeks of bright, sunny weather will come to an end today, according to the National Weather Service. Monday will see a 100 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms through out the day, with a high of about 78 degrees. Monday night will be mostly cloudy before becoming mostly cleat. The overnight low is expected to be about 59.

2. From history.com's This Day in History: "On this day in 2003, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger is elected governor of California, the most populous state in the nation with the world's fifth-largest economy. Despite his inexperience, Schwarzenegger came out on top in the 11-week campaign to replace Gray Davis, who had earlier become the first United States governor to be recalled by the people since 1921. Schwarzenegger was one of 135 candidates on the ballot, which included career politicians, other actors, and one adult-film star."

3. The family of Dundalk native Terry Burkholder Schmansky, who was murdered 24 years ago, will hold a remembrance gathering Wednesday at Squire's restaurant.

4. In recognition of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, General John Stricker Middle School students, faculty and staff members have created a bulletin board filled with pink ribbons that honor survivors and remember those who have died of the disease.
