Stricker Reschedules Concerts; Meet Justin Tucker at White Marsh Mall

1. The Weather: There's a little bit of everything expected, weather-wise, this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday is expected to be sunny but cold, with a daytime high of about 32 degrees. There's a chance of snow overnight Monday and into Tuesday, followed by sunny and mostly sunny conditions through Friday, with daytime highs ranging from 39 on Wednesday to 58 Friday.

Overnight lows are expected to range from 27 to 47 degrees.

2. From history.com's This Day in History: "In Boston Harbor, a group of Massachusetts colonists disguised as Mohawk Indians board three British tea ships and dump 342 chests of tea into the harbor.

"The midnight raid, popularly known as the "Boston Tea Party," was in protest of the British Parliament's Tea Act of 1773, a bill designed to save the faltering East India Company by greatly lowering its tea tax and granting it a virtual monopoly on the American tea trade. The low tax allowed the East India Company to undercut even tea smuggled into America by Dutch traders, and many colonists viewed the act as another example of taxation tyranny."

3. The New Norwood Holabird Community Association will hold its Christmas holiday community meeting Monday at 7:15 p.m. at Dundalk High School, 1901 Delvale Ave.

4. General John Stricker Middle School has rescheduled two concerts originally scheduled for last week. The winter band concert will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts, the orchestra concert remains the same—at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Stricker—and the winter choral concert has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Dec. 18 at Patapsco.

5. Meet Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the AT&T store at White Marsh Mall (second level, near Sports Authority).
