I must say that this school is amazing! I have a special needs child and have been through the circus of meetings and bad experience after bad experience-finally pulling him out to homeschool-which wasn't the answer either because he wasn't getting any social interaction at all. He hated school and said everyone called him a freak! Now since he's been at High Roads-his grades have come up to where they should be, he likes school and has even made some friends-for the first time! I would definately recommend this school to anyone who has a child with special needs who just doesn't "fit" into the pblic school setting because they cannot accomodate their needs. And kudos to the staff as well-without them-it wouldn't be possible. I can honestly say for the first time in my childs school experience we are both happy! I NEVER thought I would say that.

This school is a joke. They don't care about the students, they just care about making their money. This school is not a NON PROFIT school. They don't care about their students as much as they say they do. There is a flag football team and a basketball team, but that is a joke. There was never a volleyball team for students. Do not refer this school to your friends or have your child go here. They abuse the children, don't properly feed them during the day. My teenage son, who is still growing says they have a "free lunch" which consists usually of a stale ham and cheese sandwich, sometimes just cheese. That doesn't feed any growing person, they also offer a "buy lunch" for $1.75 which is also a joke. Please don't let this school be considered "good" in the community.
