9/5/11 - Today at 1 PM we went to have lunch. I asked the waitress what the soup of the day was. She said we don't have any today, we close in 1 hr. I ordered something else and so did my husband. About 15 min. later an older gentlemen came in and sat at the counter. He was greeted by the staff and asked the same question. They told him they had Navy Bean soup and Tortalini soup. He had the Navey Bean and when I went to the counter to pay for our order I saw his large bowl of soup. I want to know why their was no soup available when I ordered 15 min. prior? Prior to the fire this restaurant had good food. Now the roast beef for the hot sandwich was different. My husband says the gravy and beef tasted like it was pre-made. After this visit we will no longer be eating at this diner.
