Deadline for Proposed Dundalk Recycling Plant is Extended

Dundalk residents have until Jan. 15 to comment on a construction and demolition materials recycling plant proposed for North Point Road.

The Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability has extended the deadline for citizens to submit written comments regarding a proposed solid waste recycling facility in Dundalk. The department is reviewing a permit application filed by Bear Creek Recycling LLC to operate a construction and demolition material recycling plant at 4070 North Point Road. The Baltimore County Department of Public Works is proposing an amendment to the county's 10-year solid waste management plan regarding the proposed Bear Creek recycling facility, according to a statement from county officials. This is very bad for Dundalk!!!! We are already considered a less than idea place to live in the county. We need to encourage businesses like Walgreens and other national chains to come to North Point to build up our community with Jobs. I hope we don't get it.   more ›
