Insufficient interest in the seminar is blamed for the cancellation, according to Michele Hyland of the Colgate Improvement Association. With winter—and cold weather heating bills approaching—Building Together Baltimore is offering a free energy efficiency workshop for local residents. The workshop will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Dec. 8, at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7834 Eastern Ave. The seminar will teach residents about energy efficiency and "empower them to make improvements in their homes that will help save them money, remain warm and dry and help protect the environment," according to a statement about the program.
