Concerts in the Park, sponsored by the Dundalk-Eastfield Recreation Council, the Dundalk-Patapsco Neck Historical Society and Angel Ball, kicked off Thursday night with an energetic performance by the Drunken Uncles. A crowd of several hundred people (and many dogs) enjoyed a pleasant evening of good music with their friends and neighbors. Did you take pictures of the concert? Add them to this gallery.

The community bonding opportunities provided by the Heritage Fair, parade and fireworks have come and gone, but there are still plenty of chances to enjoy the outdoors and mix with friends old and new this summer. For the next six Thursdays, free Concerts in the Park will be held at Heritage Park at 6:30 p.m. The music series kicks off tonight with Drunken Uncles, a classic rock and roll band. The program is sponsored by the Dundalk-Eastfield Recreation Council, the Dundalk-Patapsco Neck Historical Society and Angel Ball. Food and beverages will be for sale through vendors Chick-fil-A and Mean Jean the Hot Dog Machine. Snowballs, popcorn and "walking tacos" will be sold by rec council program volunteers.
