Five Dundalk Middle School students were recognized for excellence in academics, self-discipline and responsibility.
Dundalk Middle School has announced its Students of the Month for December. Tisa Belcher, Isaiah Stroman, Shameerah Stroman, Nick Parrish and Sara Lawsonwere were selected for the honor based upon excellence in academics, self-discipline and responsibility. The student recognition program has existed for about 10 years, according to special education teacher Dana Foot. Students are nominated for the honor by grade-level teachers and staff members. Honored students receive a certificate, a pizza lunch with school administrators and have their photograph posted on the school bulletin board by the main office. Congratulations! Jose Nolasco-Gonzalez, Kayla Burroughs, Breonna Folk, Emily Tuzzolo, Aaron Mallory and Zeke Wills were selected for the honor based upon excellence in academics, self-discipline and responsibility. A box truck that failed to stop at a stop sign collided with a Dundalk Middle School bus on Monday, authorities said.
One adult and two children were treated for minor injuries following a crash in Dundalk Monday afternoon that involved a school bus and a box truck, according to Baltimore County Police Department officials. A school bus transporting 15 children home from Dundalk Middle School was westbound on Liberty Parkway at about 3:01 p.m. Monday when it was struck by a box truck that failed to stop for the stop sign on Portship at Liberty Parkway, Detective Cathy Batton said Tuesday. Both vehicles ended up on the northwest corner of the intersection. Two medics, one fire engine and a ladder truck responded to the crash, Batton said. Liberty Parkway was shut down for about three hours to remove debris and conduct a crash investigation, Batton said. …
