Dundalk Readers' Choice Has Some Tight Contests

Make sure you cast your votes in all of the Readers' Choice categories.

Dundalk Patch is holding its Readers' Choice awards. We asked you to nominate your favorite businesses, places and services, and now we ask you to cast your votes for the finalists. Not to give anything away, there are some some tight competitive categories, and your vote could make a difference. For example, Costas Inn and Salty Dog are duking it out for Best Crab House, and Village Coffee and Tea and Shallow Creek Bookstore and Cafe are neck-and-neck for Best Coffee Shop. Voting remians open through Aug. 17. Visit the Readers' Choice article and click on each individual category link to cast your vote in each.

This week, Patch is looking for your favorite sandwich place, and everything's on the table. Whether you like a grab a Whooper every day, enjoy a crab cake sandwich as a treat every now and then, know of an off-the-beaten-path pit beef stand or like a breakfast sandwich any time of day, we want to know about it. Because of the extensive possibilities for this poll, the list below is a sampling of places. If your favorite place isn't listed, tell us in the comments and we'll add it to the poll (please make sure your suggestion is in Dundalk). McDonald's (Wise Avenue) McDonald's (North Point Boulevard) Burger King (Merritt Boulevard) Burger King (North Point Boulevard) Wendy's (North Point Boulevard) Wendy's (Merritt Boulevard) Ross's Crab …

Stan, They have, sadly, taken quite a dive. Quality is awful these days. Danny, I'm a huge Vinny's fan. Great pizza, good subs/dinners, and friendly staff.   more ›
