These are Americas real heroes and deserve the best this country can offer, but sadly that is not what is happening. They are being used by politicians to further their own careers, just ask Dutch.   more ›

Dundalk Wendy's Heavily Damaged in Weekend Fire

The Merritt Boulevard restaurant sustained about $180,000 in damage.

The Wendy's restaurant on Merritt Boulevard in Dundalk was heavily damaged by a fire early Sunday morning. Crews were dispatched to the eatery in the 1300 block of Merritt Boulevard at 5:41 a.m. for the report of smoke showing from the building, according to Cpl. The Sparrows Point advisory group stresses most of the jobs are at least 10 years away from reality.

A partnership created by Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz, in unveiling its vision for the future of the industrial Sparows Point peninsula, says an expansion of the Port of Baltimore could bring more than 10,000 jobs back to the area. The Sparrows Point Partnership, a business advisory group established by the county after the former RG Steel mill closed in May 2012, announced its proposal at a press conference Friday. Dundalk Restaurant Advances to 'Burger Bracket' Championship

Donna's Tavern and Restaurant faces an uphill battle against Dempsey's Brew Pub just as baseball season kicks off.

There's good news and bad news for Donna's Tavern and Restaurant as it pursues its claim to being the home of Baltimore's best hamburger. The Pine Avenue eatery has advanced to the final round of Fox 45's Burger Bracket competition to name the metropolitan area's best burger. In voting that ended Sunday night, Donna's defeated the Greene Turtle of Hunt Valley. But the restaurant's next opponent, Dempsey's Brew Pub and Restaurant, has a distinct home field advantage this week as the final round of voting takes place. The pub, named for former Baltimore Orioles catcher Rick Dempsey, is located at Oriole Park at Camden Yards where, of course, the baseball season begins this week. With the Orioles' home opener scheduled for Friday, Dempsey's …

Burger Bracket: Donna's of Dundalk Faces Greene Turtle

Donna's Tavern and Restaurant has made it to the final four eateries in Fox 45's quest to crown Baltimore's Best Burger.

As the NCAA's March Madness basketball tournament marches toward its last rounds of competition, so too does Fox 45's Burger Bracket. In the television station's quest to find the Baltimore region's best hamburger, a Dundalk restaurant has made it to the Burger Bracket's Final Four. Donna's Tavern and Restaurant, on the reputation of its Crabby Patty, cruised through the first two rounds of competition and finds itself facing the Hunt Valley Greene Turtle this week in the semi-finals. In other semi-final action, Dempsey's Brew Pub and Restaurant faces Gunpowder Lodge. "First, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who have been voting for the past few weeks in Fox 45 Baltimore's Best Burger Contest," Heather Sekora …
