Three Injured in Five-Car Crash in Dundalk

Three patients were taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Tuesday afternoon.

A five-car crash Tuesday afternoon at Merritt Boulevard near Old North Point Road injured three people and tied up traffic on both sides of Merritt Boulevard. Baltimore County police and fire personnel responded to the crash at about 2:30 p.m., according to public safety Spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher. The chain reaction crash began when a Chevrolet Equinox, traveling from Eastern Boulevard to southbound Merritt Boulevard, reportedly did not stop for a red light at the intersection at Old North Point Road, according to Rogers-Feher. The Equinox struck a Nissan Maxima, which then struck a Chevrolet Traverse, which in turn struck both a Chrysler Pacifica and a Honda Civic. All of the struck cars were stopped for the light. Woman Critically Injured in Merritt Boulevard Crash

In the one-car crash in Dundalk, a woman hit a tree and is being flown to a hospital for treatment of critical injuries.

Baltimore County emergency personnel are on the scene of a car crash in the 2100 block of Merritt Boulevard. In the one-car crash, a female driver hit a tree near 2110 Merritt Boulevard and is being flown out to a local hospital with critical injuries, according to Louise Rogers-Feher, a spokeswoman for the Baltimore County Fire Department. The police department got the call about the crash at 4 p.m., Rogers-Feher said. Traffic on Merritt Boulevard was rerouted for a time between Dunmanway and Sollers Point Road, but is now open again. The crash team is still on the scene and no other information is available at this time, according to Rogers-Feher.

1 Ejected In Crash at Beltway and Merritt Boulevard

State troopers and other emergency personnel are on the scene of the one-car crash.

A one-car crash on the inner loop of the Baltimore Beltway has resulted in the rollover of the vehicle and the ejection of one indivudal, according to a Maryland State Police official. State police are currently on the scene and emergency aid is being rendered, according to a spokesman. Motorists in the area should expect delays while the victim is being assisted and the crash scene is cleaned up.

Early Morning Dundalk Car Crash Injures Four People

Two drivers and two others were taken to local hospitals with serious injuries.

An early morning car crash in Dundalk on Friday injured four people who were taken to local hospitals. The crash occurred at 12:36 a.m. Aug. 10 at the intersection of Wise and Lynch avenues, according to Baltimore County Police spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher. Miranda Shae Vargas, 17, of the 1900 block of Codd Avenue, was driving her 1999 Dodge Durango SUV westbound on Lynch Road when she was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by Ryan Joseph Hibler, 43, of the 7500 block of Holabird Avenue, according to police accounts. Vargas had a green light on Lynch Avenue and was proceeding across Wise Avenue when she was struck by Hibler, Rogers-Feher said. Hibler was driving at a "high rate of speed" and ran a red light, according to the …

Since Maryland is #1 for worst drivers and has the highest auto rates, the courts should place heavy penalties on bad drivers. I am sick of PBJ for multiple accidents and tickets. I feel the lawyers are to blame for trying to get their clients off for multiple tickets and accidents.
