Police Release Mugshots of Suspected Door Kick-in Burglars

Dundalk resident Dianna Marketti and Joseph Baumgarten of Pasadena are wanted after failing to appear at a bail hearing.

Howard County Police have released the mugshots of the two suspects wanted in a string of door kick-in burglaries throughout Howard County. Joseph Leo Baumgarten, of Pasadena, and Dianna Marketti, of Dundalk, were arrested on Oct. 4 after police said they tracked them down through a set of stolen Batlimore Ravens tickets. The two were charged with 25 counts each related to four daytime door kick-in burglaries and suspected in ten other burglaries that occurred in September, according to police. However, a court commissioner, Oreon W. Pinkston II, set the bail for Marketti and Baumgarten at $15,000 on Oct. 5 and both posted it that day. To free these two dangerous thugs is completely lacking in any common sense. Bail or no bail, some type people are just too dangerous to release into general society. When I read stories like this I wonder how we are going to get a handle on this type behavior with court officials like that Pinkston guy. Is there any sanity left?
