Edgemere Car Crash Victims Are Identified

Paul Luke Rice and Edward William Nelson IV were killed in the one-vehicle crash on Millers Island Road early Sunday.

The two men killed in an early-morning car crash Sunday in Edgemere have been identified by Baltimore County Police Department officials. Paul Luke Rice, 38, of the 2600 block of Sparrows Point Road, and Edward William Nelson IV, 28, of the 8100 block of Dundalk Avenue, were killed in the one-car crash. Police responded to a call about the crash at 12:13 a.m. Sunday, according to police spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher. Rice was driving his 2004 Ford F250 pickup truck at a high rate of speed in the southbound lane of Millers Island Road, according to Rogers-Feher. Because of his speed, he was having trouble keeping the truck in his lane and went into the northbound lane of Millers Island Road. Rice over-corrected, Rogers-Feher said, which …
