Richardson Nominated To Head Corrections Department
The 33-year veteran has work for the county for a decade and would replace James O'Neill.
Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz has nominated Deborah Richardson to head the county Department of Corrections. Richardson has worked for the county for more than a decade and is currently deputy director. If confirmed, she will replace James O'Neill who is retiring. "She brings a wealth of experience combined with a firm but compassionate approach to public safety," Kamenetz said in a statement released Tuesday. Richardson holds a master's degree in management from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor's degree in psychology from University of Maryland Baltimore County.
