Dundalk Crime: Man Shot with Pellet Gun

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Baltimore County Police Department officials have reported the following recent crimes in the Dundalk area: June 29: First-degree assault, 6900 block of Belclare Road At 7 a.m., a man was standing on his porch when he noticed a man loitering in front of his home. The suspect began walking between houses. When the victim went to his rear porch to watch the suspect, he felt a stinging in his arm and realized that he had been shot with a pellet gun. The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, which were not life-threatening. Dundalk Crime: Pulling Knife on Neighbors Gets Man Arrested

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Baltimore County Police Department officials have reported the following recent crimes in the Dundalk area: June 28: First-degree assault, 7500 block of Westfield Road At 11:01 a.m., a man ran to his neighbor’s home and pulled a knife from his pocket. He swung the knife at a man and a woman who were sitting on the porch talking. William Storms, 35, was arrested and charged with assault. June 27: Commercial burglary, 4000 block of North Point Boulevard At 11:32 p.m., a man shattered the front door of Subway. The suspect fled without taking anything. The suspect is a male, 5-foot-10, 180 pounds with a large build. June 27-30: Commercial burglary, 7400 block of North Point Road Between 6 a.m. on June 27 and 5:30 a.m. on June 30, an unknown …

Dundalk Crime: Bar Fight Results in Assault Charges

Baltimore County Police Department officials have reported the following recent crimes in the Dundalk area: June 25: Attempted commercial burglary, 7600 block of German Hill Road At 1:36 a.m., an unknown suspect used a brick to break the front door glass of Graymar Liquors. The suspect fled without taking anything when the alarm sounded. June 23: First-degree assault, 3800 block of North Point Boulevard At 1:17 a.m., three men got into a verbal dispute with two other men at the Left Field Pub, and they went to the back lot to fight. During the fight, one of the men displayed a knife and a handgun. The victims received injuries that were not life-threatening from the physical fight and were transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical …

Dundalk Crime: Burglars Target Homes, Businesses

Police officials urge residents to keep outdoor equipment secured in locked sheds and garages.

With summer here, Baltimore County police officials are reminding residents to keep sheds, garages and houses locked to prevent theft and other crimes. Officials say the best way to keep thieves from stealing your property is keeping doors closed and locked, according to a statement from the Baltimore County Police Department. And residents shouldn't assume they are safe from thieves just because they are home, officials said. If you're working in the backyard or swimming in the pool, the front door should be locked, according to the statement. Dundalk Crime: Burglars Hit Businesses

From the Baltimore County Police Department, a summary of recent significant police news from the Greater Dundalk area.

June 16-17: Fourth-degree burglary, 8300 block of Del Haven Road, 21222 Between 9:30 p.m. on June 16 and 8 a.m. on June 17, an unknown suspect cut a hole in the fence around Eastpoint Marina. A boat motor was stolen. June 14-15: Commercial burglary, unit block of Trappe Road, 21222 Between 3 p.m. on June 14 and 4:07 a.m. on June 15, an unknown suspect used an unknown tool to break apart the rear door to vacant businesses. The suspect stole tools and a tool bag belonging to B and B Construction. Police news from North Point Precinct 12: June 3: Fourth-degree burglary, 4300 block of North Point Boulevard, 21222 At 2 p.m., a witness observed a man tampering with the air conditioner behind Pleasant Zion Baptist Church. The suspect fled in a Ford 150 with metal chairs and grills belonging to the church. Officers located the suspect and arrested him at his home. Jeffrey Anderson, 52, of the 8500 block of Sandy Plains Road, 21222 was charged with burglary and theft. June 2-3: Fourth-degree burglary, 8400 block of Eastern Boulevard, 21224 Between noon and 1 p.m., an unknown suspect cut a lock from a rear door of a vacant building and then cut another lock on an interior door. Dundalk Man Charged with Impersonating Police Officer

Donald James Church Jr. was charged by St. Mary's County authorities.

A Dundalk man recently was charged with impersonating a Baltimore County police officer in southern Maryland and local officials are concerned he may have engaged in similar behavior in Baltimore County. Donald James Church Jr. of the unit block of Sollers Point Road was charged  with impersonating an officer by St. Mary's County police officials. Baltimore County police officials are asking that anyone in Baltimore County who may have encountered Church while he was impersonating an officer to report the incident to local authorities. Working with St. Mary's County investigators, Baltimore County detectives learned that Church claimed to be a Baltimore County officer working with the narcotics unit and North Point Precinct 12, according …
