Patapsco Bank has announced the appointment of Joanne "Jody" Sheckells as vice president, residential loan manager. In her new position, Sheckells will be involved in the handling of loan applications from the time of inception to the time of settlement, according to a statement from the bank. “I like the friendly, neighborhood environment found in community banks," Sheckells said in the statement. "That’s why I’m so excited to be working at The Patapsco Bank. They’ve been a community bank for over 100 years.” Sheckells began her banking career in 1980 and has extensive experience in mortgage and consumer lending. The Dundalk-based bank will hold Customer Appreciation Day on Flag Day.
Patapsco Bank will honor the American flag and thank its customers for their continued support when it holds Customer Appreciation Day on June 14 at all four of its branches. Bank clients who visit a branch on Flag Day can enjoy baked treats and will receive a free American flag, according to a statement from the bank. Flag Day, celebrated on June 14, commemorates the adoption of the U.S. flag by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1777. "What a perfect time to celebrate a great piece of history and say 'thank you' to our customers and friends too," bank President Michael J. Dee said in a statement. Jeanne Kelly-Rieken is appointed senior vice president of retail delivery for the Dundalk-based bank.
The Patapsco Bank has announced the appointment of Dundalk native Jeanne Kelly-Rieken to the position of senior vice president of retail delivery. In her new capacity, Kelly-Rieken will oversee all branches of the institution, financial services, marketing and public relations, according to a statement from the bank. "My focus includes improving both customer and employee engagement," Kelly-Rieken said in the statement. "I want to ensure that all of our clients' financial needs are met."
