Funeral Arrangements Made for Edgemere Crash Victims

Luke Rice and Eddie Nelson died Sunday in an early morning crash on Millers Island Road.

Funeral arrangements have been made for the two men who died in a single-vehicle crash in Millers Island early Sunday morning. Visitation for Paul Luke Rice and Edward William Nelson IV will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Luke Rice's life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 7517 North Point Road in Edgemere. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations in Rice's name be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Maryland, 100 Painters Mill Road, Suite 800, Owings Mills, MD 21117. Edgemere Car Crash Victims Are Identified

Paul Luke Rice and Edward William Nelson IV were killed in the one-vehicle crash on Millers Island Road early Sunday.

The two men killed in an early-morning car crash Sunday in Edgemere have been identified by Baltimore County Police Department officials. Paul Luke Rice, 38, of the 2600 block of Sparrows Point Road, and Edward William Nelson IV, 28, of the 8100 block of Dundalk Avenue, were killed in the one-car crash. Police responded to a call about the crash at 12:13 a.m. Sunday, according to police spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher. Rice was driving his 2004 Ford F250 pickup truck at a high rate of speed in the southbound lane of Millers Island Road, according to Rogers-Feher. Because of his speed, he was having trouble keeping the truck in his lane and went into the northbound lane of Millers Island Road. Rice over-corrected, Rogers-Feher said, which …
