Stephanie Kamlot, age 40, has been charged in a police-involved shooting that happened Saturday in Pikesville. Early Saturday morning, Kamlot—with an unknown address—was shot several times in the upper body by an officer of the Pikesville precinct after she refused to put down a replica of a gun that looked like a semi-automatic handgun, police have said. Kamlot, who was still hospitalized on Monday, has been charged with first-degree assault and obstruction of justice in the incident that allegedly happened outside a home in the 3100 block of Northbrook Road, according to police. A woman shot by a Baltimore County police officer early Saturday morning in Pikesville was holding a handgun replica and will be charged in the incident, police said. A Baltimore County police officer shot the woman several times in the upper body after she did not follow police orders to drop the weapon. The woman threatened the officer with a metallic replica of a large semi-automatic handgun, a police investigation revealed. Police: The woman was shot after she didn’t follow orders to drop a handgun.
A woman is in serious condition after a Baltimore County police officer shot her when she would not drop a gun early Saturday morning in Pikesville, police said. Just before 2 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a house in the 3100 block of Northbrook Road for a report of a suspicious person. When they arrived, an officer saw a woman standing in front of the house. When he approached her, she threw a large rock at the house, breaking a window, the release said. The woman then pulled out a handgun and did not drop the weapon after the officer ordered her to do so several times, the release said. Detectives are investigating the death as a suicide.
Police said they found the body of a missing Pikesville native Friday night. David Johnathan Scherr, 20, a University of Maryland student, was unresponsive in a 2013 Ford Escape parked in a lot near Route 197 and Route 450, according to Prince George's County Police. Detectives are investigating the death as a suicide. Scherr had been missing since Dec. 19.

15-year-old Cheyenne Abbott was at Milford Mill and Liberty roads, police say.
A Milford Mill teen has been missing since Monday when she was at Milford Mill and Liberty roads in Milford Mill. Baltimore County police need help finding 15-year-old Cheyenne Angel Abbott, a 5-foot 7-inch 15-year-old, according to a news release Thursday. She weighs 252 pounds, and was last seen at about 9 a.m. in that area, the release states. According to a Baltimore Breaking News report, Abbott was at the Christmas tree stand, near Giant Foods the last time she was seen. Steven Pearson, a 57-year-old Lochearn resident has been missing since he left to meet someone about a contracting job Dec. 17. Police need help finding Pearson "who was last seen operating a white, 2006 Chevrolet van with Maryland license plate 40V190," according to a news release Thursday from the Baltimore County Police Department. The van has a dent on the driver’s side door. The van has cargo-style side doors. Two men stole jewelry and money Nov. 14 from Sobo Gold Buyers in Pikesville.
Police have released a sketch of a man who held up a Pikesville gold buyer at gunpoint last month. In a news release Monday, police ask anyone with information on the suspect to call the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-307-2020. At about 6:30 p.m. Nov. 14, a man armed with a gun confronted an employee outside of Sobo Gold Buyers, located in the 700 block of Reisterstown Road. UPDATE (4 p.m. Nov. 27)-Tyler Grimes, a 15-year-old Milford Mill resident, who had been missing, has been found alive and well. On Monday, Baltimore County police said Grimes was last seen at 4 p.m. Nov. 24 at his home in the 3500 block of Wild Cherry Road. He was reported missing at about 12:35 a.m. Nov. 25, according to a news release. Grimes is white, and is 5 foot, 5 inches tall, the release states. He weighs 160 pounds and has brown eyes and straight, brown hair. "He does not have a vehicle or a driver’s license," the release states. Antoine Reed was sentenced for a 2008 murder at Hunter's Crossing Apartments.
Antoine M. Reed Jr. was sentenced Tuesday in Baltimore County Circuit Court to life without parole in the 2008 shooting death of a Woodlawn apartment complex manager, according to a news release from the State's Attorney's office. Judge John J. Nagle III sentenced Reed, of Gwynn Oak, in the death of Milton Barnes, the manager of the Hunter's Crossing Apartments complex. Reed was convicted by a jury in August of first-degree murder and unlawful use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence .
