Dundalk Man Charged in Towson Stabbing

Baltimore County police allege Turner Station resident Jeshua Joshiah Young also broke a woman's arm.

A Dundalk man was charged with attempted murder after Baltimore County police said he stabbed another man in the throat in Towson on Sunday. At around 10 a.m., Jeshua Joshiah Young, 35, of the 700 block of New Pittsburgh Avenue, allegedly engaged in an argument with a man and woman about money, according to a Baltimore County police report. The argument, which took place at the man and woman's home in the 1600 block of Yakona Road, escalated and became physical. During the altercation, police said Young stabbed the man in the throat and hand, and broke the woman's arm.  Young was later arrested, and police recovered a stolen cell phone and the knife from him, according to the report.

Police Charge Annapolis Man in Owings Mills Homicide

Jeffrey Michael Shiflett is charged in the death of Katie Hadel.

Baltimore County Police have charged an Annapolis man with murder in the death of Owings Mills resident Katie Hadel. Jeffrey Michael Shiflett, 33, of the 1700 block of Saint Margarets Road in Annapolis, is charged with one count of first-degree murder, according to a Baltimore County Police press release. He was arrested without incident Wednesday morning shortly after 11 a.m. when an officer spotted him walking on the street in the Reisterstown area, police said. He is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. Police found the body of Hadel, 33, in her apartment on the unit block of Wellhaven Circle Tuesday night while responding to a domestic disturbance report. Two Men Arrested in 2009 Randallstown Homicide

Baltimore County police arrested Eric Isaiah Johnson and Leonard Briscoe last week.

Baltimore County police arrested two men last week in the Sept. 30, 2009, stabbing death of Rodney Lewis in his Randallstown home. On Jan. 2, police arrested Eric Isaiah Johnson, according to a news release. Then, on Jan. 3, police arrested Leonard Briscoe. Both have been charged with first-degree murder. At about 4 p.m. Sept. 30, 2009, officers went to the Lewis' residence in the 9500 block of Liberty Road. During their investigation, police found out that Johnson was staying with Lewis and Lewis' wife. Update: Arrest Made in Seahorse Inn Stabbings

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Update (12:43 p.m.) A Dundalk man has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and two counts of first-degree assault following two stabbings at the Seahorse Inn Saturday night, according to Baltimore County police. Adam Wayne Church, 21, of the 2800 block of Yorkway, Dundalk, is currently being held at the Baltimore County Dentention on $1,000,000 bail. A trail date has been set for November 10. Initially, police said that three people had been stabbed at the Seahorse Inn Saturday night, but preliminary reports regarding a third victim were incorrrect. Middle River Bar Could Face Punishment Following Second Stabbing

Baltimore County police and the liquor board are exploring sanctions against Boomers Bar and Smokehouse.

Baltimore County police and liquor board officials are investigating whether they can close a Middle River bar following the second stabbing in two weeks at the establishment. The latest stabbing at Boomers Bar and Smokehouse, located in the 100 block of Earls Road, occurred at 12:46 a.m. Friday, according to a news release. Police responded to Boomers for a stabbing, which witnesses told police occurred during a fight between two people after someone bumped into a 22-year-old woman on the dance floor. According to the release, the woman was stabbed once during the fight and was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Couple Charged in Logan Village Stabbing

Baltimore County police have charged a man and woman for their alleged involvement in a stabbing Sunday night near the Logan Village Shopping Center. At approximately 10 p.m. July 3, officers responded to the 6800 block of Broening Road following a report of an assault. A 32-year-old male was found with cuts to his upper body. He was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.   Baltimore County police have charged Shawn Allen Novak, 28, of the 600 block of Arsan Avenue in Brooklyn and Ann Marie Preston, 27, of the 4100 block of North Point Road in Dundalk, with first- and second-degree assault. Man Stabbed Sunday Night During Robbery Attempt

Victime of multiple stabbing was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

An unidentified man suffered multiple stab wounds during an attempted robbery in Dundalk Sunday night. According to Baltimore County Police, a man was stabbed several times Sunday at around 10 p.m. on Broening Highway in the Logan Village area. The victim, taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital, was not identified and his exact condition is not known at this time. “I know he was stabbed multiple times, but I don’t believe his injuries were life-threatening,” said Baltimore County police Cpl. George Erhardt. Police are investigating and seeking information from local residents about the incident, Erhardt said.

Report: MTA Bus Driver Arrested after Allegedly Stabbing Passenger

The stabbing occurred near Eastpoint Mall in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd., according to police.

Maryland Transit Administration Police have charged an MTA bus driver with assault after an altercation with a passenger near the Eastpoint Mall, according to a post on The Baltimore Sun’s website Saturday night citing a police statement. MTA hired the bus driver, Brian Jamal Marshall, 28, in 2006. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center, facing charges of assault, aggravated assault and possession of a deadly weapon, the Sun report said, citing police. Update: Police Charge Brother of Fiancee in Dunmurry Road Killing

According to police, a man was stabbed—and later died—after being attacked by his fiancée's brother.

(Update 11:25 a.m.) Shortly after midnight Friday, Baltimore County police were dispatched to the 2900 block of Dunmurry Road, a garden-style apartment complex, for a report that a man had repeatedly stabbed his sister’s fiance in the passenger seat of a white van, according to police and an eyewitness. The stabbing victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 8 a.m. Saturday, according to Baltimore County Police Sgt. Benjamin Yohe.
