Jessika Heiser, known as Jessie Kaye in MCW, is pursuing an education at Towson University while also working to achieve her dream of becoming a pro wrestler.
Jessika Heiser gets beat up by guys on a weekly basis and she wouldn’t have it any other way. The 20-year-old Heiser proudly shows off the bruises and cuts that often cover a good portion of her body. Those injuries came following a recent session of training to become a professional wrestler. Heiser is less than two years removed from pursuing her dream. She currently is a regular fixture with Maryland Championship Wrestling. There, she is the evil Jessie Kaye, where her job is to incite the crowd while leading her man MCW veteran Ronnie Zukko to the ring. One of the top wrestling leagues is having a television taping Saturday at Du Burns Arena.
Adam Cole has been a professional wrestler for less than four years, yet in many ways he is a seasoned veteran. Cole, 22, is an up-and-coming wrestler who was recently a star with Maryland Championship Wrestling, which is owned by a Middle River resident. He is currently signed with Ring of Honor, which is considered the nation's No. 3 league behind WWE and TNA and which is hosting an event Saturday in Baltimore. “Being a pro wrestler is all I ever wanted to be,” Cole said. “I was 10 years old and watched as ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and The Rock came out to a crowd of 70,000 at WrestleMania XVII and knew I wanted to be out there one day.” Despite being 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, Cole has developed a solid reputation as an up-and-coming pro…

Pro wrestling card offers fans a good time while raising money for charity.
Maryland Championship Wrestling returned to The New Green Room on Saturday night, with the MCW Bodyslams Autism event. Local wrestling fans were treated to an exciting card featuring WWE superstar The Boogeyman against Alexander James as well as a $5,000 bounty match between Pasadena's Ryan McBride and The Bruiser. But for the card's organizers, the main event wasn't the match, but the opportunity to raise money for Autism Speaks, a charity dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and cure for autism as well as raising public awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families and society.
