Dundalk Chamber Members Jump Aboard the Lunch Train

The Wise Avenue Volunteer Fire Company hosted 25 Dundalk Chamber of Commerce members and friends for lunch and a tour of its famous holiday train garden.

The Dundalk Chamber of Commerce visited the Wise Avenue Volunteer Fire Department Train Garden on Friday, Jan. 4. The arranged luncheon was sponsored by board member Phil Hanlon of Mars Supermarkets, which offered a delicious light buffet. Board member Dolly McCoy spearheaded the luncheon for 25 members and friends. Dale Copeland, president of the volunteer fire company, gave a brief history of the department and its train garden. The train garden, which has grown in size over the years, is completely assembeled each year by the volunteers. The Dundalk Chamber of Commerce gave a donation to President Copeland to help support the future of the train garden. Several of the volunteer firemen were also in attendance during the luncheon.
