Police Issue Warning About 'Deception Burglaries' in Dundalk

Elderly victims were targeted in two recent Dundalk robberies.

Following two recent "deception burglaries" in the Greater Dundalk area, the Baltimore County Police Department has issued a warning to residents to be on the alert for such deceptive practices. The first incident happened at 1:45 p.m. Jan. 4, in the 1500 block of Delvale Avenue, according to a police department statement. The suspects offered to clean the gutters for the homeowner and stole items inside the house while "checking for leaks," according to the statement. The second incident took place at 1 p.m. Jan. 9, in the 7400 block of Belmont Avenue.
