(UPDATE): No One Injured in Ashwood Road Fire
A house in the 200 block of Ashwood Road received extensive damage in the Monday afternoon fire.
(UPDATED 8:37 p.m.)—No one was injured in a fire that caused extensive damage to a single family home in the 200 block of Ashwood Road late Monday afternoon. Emergency dispatchers received a call at 5:38 p.m. reporting the fire, according to a statement from Baltimore County Fire Department spokesman Lt. Paul Massarelli. When firefighters arrived at the scene at 5:43 p.m., they reported heavy fire coming from the back of the house. Crews went inside the house to battle the blaze but were pulled back when the second floor of the home became engulfed in flames, according to Massarelli.
