Teen Injured in Hawthorne Shooting
Baltimore County police officials confirmed a 19-year-old man was shot in the upper body.
(UPDATED 11:25 p.m.)—A 19-year-old man is being treated at a local hospital for a gunshot wound that is not expected to be life-threatening, according to Baltimore County Police Department officials. At 7:46 p.m., police responded to a call about shots fired in the 100 block of Kingston Road in the Hawthorne community. Upon arrival, officers found the teen with a gunshot wound to his upper body, according to a statement from Cpl. John Wachter. The incident is being investigated by the police department’s Violent Crimes Unit. No further information is available at this time.
