Puppeteer Kevin Clash Sued by Third Accuser
A third man has accused the Turner Station native of engaging in underage sex with him.
A third man has stepped forward to accuse puppeteer Kevin Clash of engaging in a sexual relationship with him while he was underage. Clash, a Dundalk native, is accused of using alcohol to "groom" the then-16-year-old boy into sexual activity, the New York Daily News reported today. The paper cited a lawsuit filed by the accuser using the name "John Doe" in Manhattan Federal Court on Tuesday. The accuser, now 29, claims to have met Clash in 2000 on a gay phone chat line when he was a 16-year-old aspiring model from New Jersey. Clash resigned from his job as the voice of Elmo last week after a $5 million lawsuit was filed by Cecil Singleton, 24, who claims that Clash had sex with him when he was 15.
