Along with my 39 year police career, I am a writer and have worked as a freelance for the Baltimore Sun, The Evening Sun and the Sun Magazine.  I also worked for the former Baltimore News American, a Hearst Publication.

I wrote for many great editors including Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Hunter of the Sun and Washington Post.  While at the News American I wrote a column appearing next to Andy Rooney.

In addition I wrote the screenplay for the Hollywood motion picture titled "Misfit Patrol."
