Man Fatally Shot in Dundalk: Baltimore County Police

A suspect was in custody, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

A man shot on Paulette Road in Dundalk has died, police said after 2 p.m. Thursday.

The Baltimore County Police Department responded to a shooting in an apartment in the 2000 block of Paulette Road at 1:03 p.m. and found a man with at least one gunshot wound, according to a report from police.

The victim was taken by helicopter to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

Authorities had a suspect in custody as of 1:33 p.m., the Baltimore County Police Department said.

The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit was investigating the incident, which was the first homicide of 2014, police said.
