Baltimore's Zoo Gets in on Facebook's Giraffe Riddle Gone Viral
Regardless of how you answer the now-viral giraffe riddle, Maryland Zoo in Baltimore officials say giraffes are "awesome."
You might have noticed a lot of your Facebook friends have changed their profile pictures to various and assorted images of giraffes.
If you're not privy to the "giraffe" riddle making the rounds, you're probably wondering why.
I had noticed the abundance of giraffe profile pictures and wondered about it. I thought maybe it was to show support for an animal rights group or something like that.
Until one of my friends posted the riddle and I bit.
I answered with what I thought was the correct answer, but I was told, no, it was something else (I don't want to spoil the riddle for those who haven't yet seen it).

Then I saw an online article debunking the supposed "correct" answer and allowing as how the answer I gave was indeed logically the correct one.
Anyway, the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore has jumped into the fray with a simple post on its Facebook page that says, "No matter what your riddle response … the answer is: giraffes are awesome.
And zoo officials posted a rather awesome picture of a giraffe to support their stance.
